Dr. Oxilas is originally from New York City and currently resides in Hamden, Connecticut. She is the first chiropractic physician in the United States, to have completed an Advanced Orthopedic Residency training program through the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic. Dr. Oxilas has also held academic and faculty positions at the University of Bridgeport where she assisted in the instruction of other future physicians in courses which included Neurology, Orthopedics and Differential Diagnosis of Neuromusculoskeletal Conditions. She specializes in chronic pain care and offers both conservative and holistic approaches to patient care.

She is certified in Acupuncture, Dry Needling, Graston Technique, Webster Technique, and Kinesiotaping. Her experience also includes clinical rotations at the Veteran's Affairs Hospitals of Newington and West Haven in collaboration with both UCONN & Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Oxilas has also dedicated her most recent years in practice to serving chronic pain patients alongside Primary Care Physicians, Pediatricians and multiple specialists in Community Health Centers throughout Connecticut. It is here where she developed her passion for complex cases which included Lou Gehrig's disease, HIV/AIDS, Suboxone, Autoimmune diseases and Fibromyalgia and ultimately the role of chiropractic in those cases. Dr. Oxilas takes pride in customizing unique care plans for each and every patient.
